Landscape.

I really enjoyed this assignment because it gave me a chance to experiment on different angles tocapture something so simply in your everyday life and make it become something more interesting. It shows that we take everything for granted and we don’t take the time to look at the landscape. I personally think it’s easier to shoot landscape because everything is there and set, nothing is moving so all is really needed is the angle and probably the lighting of the day, but mostly that could be fixed with Photoshop.

This project was taken at Mission Beach. It represents the muslim cultures are still able to walk around the beach with their dresses on. It shows how free our country is, not having to wear bikinis or skin revealing clothes. We are free to be who we want to be.

Timeline

My group was with Jenny, Wyatt, and Palina. We divide individual reasonability like Wyatt bought the board and made the frame, Palina gathered the information, I put everything together and Jenny printed out the pictures. I didn’t think this project was hard because everybody did their share on this. What we were having trouble on was getting the material together because it took us a while to buy the board. Overall, we had fun doing this project because while we were at it, we learned how photography evolved

Portrait: Natural Light

These portraits were taken at the park, with natural light. The first image, a little girl who is holding her toy, while i took a picture of her. I didn't have to tell her to pose, she just revealed herself through her emotions which worked with what i wanted it to look like. The lighting was a bit too bright in the back, but it was natural light from the sun. The second portrait, I like how the light from the sun is shown on his nose and forehead, with his natural pose. The third photo, i like how everything is so detailed with the clouds, the fence, and her facial expression. The light brightens up her face & the colors on her dress.

Manjari Sharma Portraits.

A Portrait is an image with the model's natural beauty, being comfortable with the photographer and including themselves. The models shouldn't be asked to pose, it should come from their inner emotions and whatever they feel like doing. Both the photographer & the model should have an eye to eye relationship knowing how to reveal themselves through eye contact. Portraits aren't just snapshots, they're captured with very detailed specks of the moment showing the model's deep emotion within themselves. These portraits are from Manjari Sharma, revealing their emotions through water, & where they positioned themselves.
